About – EICC

A promising career awaits you!

EICC is a Canadian educational innovation and invention centre headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and established in 2003.  In partnership with recognized and fully accredited educational institutions such as Algoma University College, Cambrian College and others, EICC links  college or university-bound students from around the world to affordable, relevant Canadian education, with standard, tailored or accelerated degree, diploma and certification courses.

EICC takes Canadian education to the countries where the demand is highest.  Our current focus is in South Asia, where a large number of individuals are choosing Canada as a country to immigrate and settle in. EICC has established partnerships in South Asia so individuals can take Canadian accredited programs prior to coming to Canada, which will help them integrate into Canadian workforce easily and quickly.

EICC also helps new immigrants to Canada to become fully qualified for the domestic labour market by offering services such as accelerated (twelve month) degree programs in Computer Science or Information Technology at a campus where a high number of immigrants are settling. This program is being offered in Brampton using Sheridan College, Davis Campus facility.  This program is being delivered jointly with Algoma University College, is open to people who already have an undergraduate university degree from any country in any discipline except Computer Science or Information Technology.  In addition to helping new or prospective immigrants gain the certification they need to compete in today’s Canadian labour market, this program directly addresses the current shortage of IT workers in Canada.
